Formulary Council
Information on the Formulary Council
The Council on Doctors of Naturopathic Medicine Formulary shall consist of 5 members. The term of each member of the Council shall be 2 years, which a member shall serve until a successor is appointed. The Council shall determine the substances to be included in the Formulary that may be prescribed by a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine acting under this chapter. When determined to be appropriate to the scope of practice of Doctors of Naturopathic Medicine the Councils on Doctors of Naturopathic Medicine Formulary may also consider synthetically-produced substances and their salts having an identical or substantially identical molecular structure to a plant or animal substance as found in nature to be plant or animal substances.
