Board of Home Inspectors

The purpose of the New Hampshire Board of Home Inspectors is to assure that a home inspector performs professional services only when the home inspector is qualified by education and training.

Board News

On June 5, 2017, the Board of Home Inspectors (Board), voted to adopt as an initial proposal Home 100-200 pdf file and Home 300-700 pdf file. The Board has scheduled a public hearing on these rules on August 7, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. at the Office of Professional Licensure & Certification, 121 S. Fruit Street, Concord, NH 03301. Oral comments on these proposals may be made at the public hearing. Written comments on the proposals may be submitted any time through August 14, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. Those seeking to submit written comments may do so via mail at the address listed above or via email to Robert J. Lamberti, Jr., Attorney I, at robert.lambertijr@nh.gov.

Certification is required for persons engaged in residential mold assessment effective January 1, 2016.

Online renewals are now available for Home Inspectors.

Licensing will be delayed for 2 weeks in early August due to licensing software update and maintenance.
