Public Hearing on Proposed Rule Provisions

At its 3-21-17 regular meeting, the Real Estate Commission voted on two separate initial proposals, one containing various provisions of Rea 100-200 pdf file, and one containing various provisions of Rea 300-700 pdf file. A public hearing on these proposals has been scheduled for June 6, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at the Office of Professional Licensure & Certification, 121 S. Fruit Street, Concord, NH 03301. Public comments on these proposals may be submitted orally at that public hearing or in writing to Robert Lamberti, Attorney I, at Robert.lambertijr@nh.gov. Online renewals for Real Estate Sales Persons, Brokers and Real Estate Firms begins February 1, 2017.

Licensing will be delayed for 2 weeks in early August due to licensing software update and maintenance.

The attached forms need to be filled out and uploaded during the online registration process.

Real Estate Commission responsibilities:

  • Administering the New Hampshire broker's and salesperson's real estate exams.
  • Accrediting and monitoring real estate course providers and education courses.
  • Issuing, and renewing, the real estate licenses of qualified broker and salesperson candidates and real estate firms.
  • Maintaining official department records of schools, instructors, license/exam applicants, consumer complaints and licensees.
  • Adopting administrative rules under RSA 541-A relative to the effective enforcement of RSA 331-A, the New Hampshire Real Estate Practice Act.
  • Monitoring the statewide practice of real estate brokerage in New Hampshire and investigating complaints of illegal activity.
  • Conducting administrative disciplinary hearings under RSA 541-A and, where necessary, imposing disciplinary sanctions.
