Office of Licensed Allied Health Professionals

The New Hampshire Office of Licensed Allied Health Professionals has been established to identify for the public, quality healthcare professionals through a system of licensure, standards of practice, continuing competency, and regulatory oversight.

Our mission is to assure that the services provided by health professionals are effective and of a quality consistent with the standard of care within each profession, and to safeguard the healthcare consumer against harm which may be caused by unqualified, impaired or unlicensed practitioners. We are charged with maintaining the integrity of the following professions:

The Governing Boards qualify and license individuals, establish and enforce law and administrative rules, and provide information so the public can make informed decisions.

New Rulemaking

On April 1, 2019, the Board of Directors, Office of Allied Health Professionals voted on an initial rulemaking proposal regarding Ahp 601.04 &601.05 pdf file. The Board had scheduled a public comment hearing on this proposal on June 3, 2019, but was unable to hold the public hearing at that time. For that reason, the Board has rescheduled the public hearing for June 24, 2019 at 8:45 a.m.

Persons interested in providing oral testimony on this proposal may do so in person at the public hearing. Written testimony on this proposal will be accepted through the end of the public comment hearing, and may be submitted through mail at the address listed above or via email to
