Board of Licensed Dietitians

The State of New Hampshire created the Board of Licensed Dietitians to protect the health, safety and welfare of the people of the Granite State. The Board grants initial licenses to qualified applicants, renews or reinstates licensed dietitians, establishes continuing education standards and a code of ethics. The Board also investigates complaints against licensees and undertakes any necessary disciplinary proceedings and actions.

Board News

The State of New Hampshire has mandated change to all licensing boards. Beginning June 2017, all dietitian licenses will be on the same two year cycle (i.e. license renewals due on June 30th). For licenses that renewed beginning June 1, 2015 through December 1, 2015 and were charged a prorated fee, the licenses will expire on June 30, 2017 and will be required to provide proof of 15 credit hours of Continuing Professional Education (CPEs). Those licenses that renewed between January 2016 and May 2016 and were charged a prorated fee will be responsible for 10 CPEs and their license will expire on June 30th, 2017 also.
