Board of Licensed Dietitians

The State of New Hampshire created the Board of Licensed Dietitians to protect the health, safety and welfare of the people of the Granite State. The Board grants initial licenses to qualified applicants, renews or reinstates licensed dietitians, establishes continuing education standards and a code of ethics. The Board also investigates complaints against licensees and undertakes any necessary disciplinary proceedings and actions.

Board Vacancy

Any Licensed Registered Dietitian interested in serving on this board is encouraged to apply. Governor Sununu appoints board members after approval by the Executive Committee. The board meets approximately 6 times per year depending upon demand. It’s a 3 year term which is renewable for a consecutive term. Applicants must have been residents of the State of New Hampshire for at least 3 years immediately preceding appointment to the board.
