Public Hearing on Rulemaking Proposals

On July 10, 2018, the NH Electricians’ Board (“Board”) voted on two initial rulemaking proposals, one containing Elec 105 pdf file and the other containing various provisions of Elec 300 pdf file. The Board will be holding a public hearing on these proposals on October 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Office of Professional Licensure and Certification, 121 S. Fruit Street, Concord, NH 03301.
Persons interested in providing oral testimony on either of these proposals may do so in person at the public hearing. Written testimony on these proposals will be accepted through the end of the public comment hearing, and may be submitted through mail at the address listed above or via email to robert.lambertijr@oplc.nh.gov.

The 2017 National Electrical Code goes into effect on January 1, 2018
Licensees who have not completed the required 15 hours of continuing education on the 2017 National Electrical Code by December 31, 2017 will be listed as invalid which is the same as not being licensed. The invalid designation will stay in place until the Boards’ office receives confirmation of the completion of the required continuing education.
