I recently received a notification that I need to take the Jurisprudence Assessment Module (JAM). Is it an official notification that I must follow?

Some Administrative Rules state that “Plc” rules govern. Where do I find Plc Rules?

I am interested in taking a continuing education course. Where do I go to get it approved for my license renewal?
The NH PTGB does not pre-approve courses to apply toward continuing competence requirements for license renewal. You can find information regarding continuing competency requirements at Phy 406.01 Maintenance of Continuing Competence Requirements.
I am interested in performing dry needling on my patients. Is it in the NH scope of practice and what are the requirements for education?

I don’t like the way my physical therapist treated me. How do I file a complaint to the NH PTGB?

Is there direct access in New Hampshire?
Per 328-A:9 Lawful Practice, a physical therapist is only required to refer a patient or client to appropriate health care practitioners when:
(a) The physical therapist has reasonable cause to believe symptoms or conditions are present that require services beyond the scope of practice; or
(b) Physical therapy is contraindicated. (Section 328-A:9 Lawful Practice.)
I have heard conflicting information regarding the need to co-sign my PTA’s notes. Do I have to co-sign everything?
328-A:11 Obligations of Licensees A physical therapist assistant shall work under a physical therapist's general supervision. A physical therapist assistant shall document care provided and shall report to a supervising physical therapist any status in a patient requiring a change in the plan of care. The supervising physical therapist shall review and co-sign all notes during each reevaluation. Section 328-A:11 Obligations of Licensees.
