Important Notice Regarding Essential Services:
The Office of Professional Licensure and Certification has been in contact with New Hampshire Business and Economic Affairs (“BEA”) to determine if services provided by Massage Therapists are considered essential services. Currently, services provided by Massage Therapists are not essential services. Please see Emergency Order #17 for requirements and restrictions that may apply.
For the duration of the State of Emergency, the requirement in Plc 302.02(a)(3)e. that new applicants complete a course of study which includes verifiably documented practical hours is hereby modified to allow students currently enrolled in massage therapy classes through an accredited massage therapy program to complete practical education requirements, including palpitations, through video web-based conferencing with instructors. Students shall be required to conduct a final live, in-person, palpation assessment with their instructor in order to meet graduation requirements.

The Board office is no longer printing wall certificates or pocket card licenses. You will now receive an email with your license attached as a PDF, which you can save and print. If you have submitted an application to the Board and have not received anything in the regular mail, please check to see if you have received an email from NH.Licenses@doit.nh.gov. Please allow two weeks for processing.
