The Board of Mental Health Practice has Proposed to Update Rules and Forms

Proposed Rules

The Board of Mental Health Practice has proposed to update some rules and forms
related to licensing. This proposal replaces proposal EXRF 2024-4, which has been
withdrawn.

Here’s a breakdown of the proposed changes:

1. Supervision Agreement Form (Mhp 302.01(c)):

  • This form is used by candidates for licensure to document their supervised practice.
  • To add a checkbox for those applying for a conditional license starting October3, 2023.
  • To include Licensed Social Workers, Social Work Associates, and School Social Workers based on various effective dates.

2. Professional Reference Form (Mhp 302.05(b)(4)):

  • This form collects references for licensure applicants.
  • To include School Social Workers and Licensed Social Workers, and Social Work Associates.

3. Summary of Supervised Clinical Experience Form (Mhp 302.05(b)(1)):

  • Used to summarize supervised clinical experience for different mental health professionals.
  • To include Licensed Social Workers and Social Work Associates.

4. Supervisor’s Confirmation of Clinical Experience Form (Mhp 302.05(b)
(2):

  • Confirms supervised clinical experience.
  • Updated to include Licensed Social Workers and Social Work Associates.

5. Marriage and Family Therapist Supervised Experience Form (Mhp
302.05(b))(1)):

  • Updated to align with the language used in the rules.

Other changes are made for better clarity and consistency with recently adopted
