RFA-2025-MEDI-02 (Medical and Dental Expert Legal Reviewer)

This Request for Applications (RFA) is published to solicit applications for the provision of Medical and Dental Expert Legal Review Services to assist the Office of Professional Licensure and Certification (OPLC) staff with the review of complaints and claims made against Physicians, Physician Assistants, Dentists, and Dental Hygienists that include, but are not limited to:

• Medical or Dental malpractice.
• Incompetence.
• Unprofessional conduct.
• Other relating consumer complaints.

The OPLC anticipates awarding up to two (2) contracts for the services in this RFA.

Qualified applicants include physicians, physician assistants, dentists, and dental hygienists who are licensed, or previously licensed, by the OPLC with no restrictions to practice in the State of New Hampshire.

Qualified applicants would also include individuals without a physician, physician’s assistant, or dental license who have performed extensive legal reviews and evaluations in the medical and/or dental field, specifically relating to standards of care and performance of medical or dental practice.

Qualified applicants who are members of the Board of Medicine and the Board of Dental Examiners (the Board, or collectively the Boards) may apply to provide services in this RFA. If selected to enter into a contract with the OPLC, the applicant must resign their position as board member.
