Education & Certification Requirements
Initial Licensure:
- Candidates possessing National Architectural Accrediting Board or Canadian Architectural Certification Board accredited professional degree in architecture shall have at least 3 years’ architectural experience under a licensed architect
- Candidates possessing a 4 year pre-professional degree in architecture shall have at least 7 years’ architectural experience under a licensed architect
- Candidates possessing no degree shall have at least 13 years’ architectural experience under a licensed architect
