Is use of CE Broker mandatory?
Yes, administrative rule, Plc 308.04, requires licensees to track and complete continuing competence activities using an approved online system (CE Portal). You can view that rule, here.
Is there a timeline of when all of my CEs should be entered if it is required?
Yes, you should ensure that your CEs are logged prior to the expiration date of your license. If you are randomly selected for audit at renewal, we will access CE Broker to confirm compliance with the continuing education requirement of your professional license.
Am I now required to pay to track my continuing education in CE Broker?
No, you are not required to pay for this service and can set up a free account. Click here to watch a video tutorial to create a free account.
Who do I contact for assistance if I need help using the CE Broker platform?
You will need to contact CE Broker directly for assistance with their platform. They provide a multitude of help videos and topics. If you have a free account, you can contact CE Broker using their AI chat (in the platform) or via email at: support@cebroker.com. Licensees who choose to pay for a subscription, can use AI Chat, email, and phone support by calling 877-434-6323.
How do I find my license information in CE Broker?
You can search by license type and/or license number. You will enter your license number exactly as it appears on your license – do not add any letters or omit any zeros.
Is my renewal now completed in the CE Broker platform?
No. You are only using CE Broker to track the continuing education requirement for the renewal of your license. The renewal application itself is completed in the portal as it has been done previously. If your profession does not renew online at this time, you will track your CE’s in CE Broker and continue to complete the paper renewal application. Renewal application information can be confirmed from the application link on your board page.
What if I already use a national organization to manage my CEs?
Plc 308.04 requires licensees to track and complete continuing competence activities using an approved CE portal. To be approved, OPLC staff must be able to access CE records. Currently, the only approved CE portal is CE Broker. OPLC is aware that there are other CE trackers used by licensees and are currently reviewing such systems for functionality. More information will be provided as it is available.
I am an Electrician/Mechanical Safety licensee, why can't I find my code updates from 2023 in CE Broker?
Information that has already been tracked by the OPLC or already submitted directly to OPLC from your course provider will not import into your CE Broker account. CE Broker is to be utilized for the code update that is due next and all future required code updates.
How does a course provider or course instructor submit for approval in CE Broker?

What if I am unable to locate my license in CE Broker?
The license list is updated daily; if you have recently received your license, check back in 24-hours. If within 24-hours you are still unable to proceed, contact customersupport@oplc.nh.gov. You will need to include your full name and license number in your email, as well as a brief description of the issue.
Can I track continuing education for multiple professional licenses with CE Broker?
Yes. If you have multiple professional licenses that are regulated with OPLC, you can track CE's for the respective licenses in CE Broker. You will need to toggle between licenses in the drop-down menu on your account to confirm that you are tracking CEs for the correct license. Will I be able to see my other expired, inactive and active licenses in CE Broker?
Yes, it is possible to see older licenses that have expired in CE Broker. For example, if you previously held a LNA license that was expired for five years and then reapplied and now have an active LNA license, you will be able to see both licenses in your CE Broker account. You will need to be aware that you must report your CEs under the current or most recent license.
Can I track CEs in CE Broker for my NH license as well as my out of state license?
Yes, it is possible to do this following the steps in this help article; however, the other state you are licensed in must participate with CE Broker as well. If you are unsure if the other state participates with CE Broker, you can contact the licensing agency in that state.
Am I required to pay for the mandated use of CE Broker?
No, you are not required to pay for your CE Broker account. CE Broker does offer multiple account options for their platform. You can elect to create a free account, or you can pay for an account. Each account has different levels of features and assistance. Do I need to use CE Broker if I am not required to complete continuing education as part of my license renewal?
No, CE Broker is utilized for professionals that are required to complete continuing education to maintain licensure. CE Broker will be utilized to assist OPLC with the continuing education audit that commences during renewal cycles, as well as assist licensees to track their CE activities in one place.
